What is the Piedmont Dispute Resolution Center?
Piedmont Dispute Resolution Center (PDRC) plays an important role in helping to build and maintain healthy local communities. Founded in 1990 by a group of civic-minded citizens, the Center's services promote justice, non-violence, and the peaceful resolution of conflict.
A Piedmont United Way Agency, PDRC is committed to the idea that conflicts can be resolved directly by the people who are most affected. Our mission is to provide services that enable citizens to do just that. Equally important, is that our services be delivered with the highest integrity and professionalism and provided in an affordable manner. Founded in 1990, the Center’s conflict resolution services help to promote peace, justice and non-violence throughout the communities in our service area of Prince William, Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties. The Center’s family, general, criminal and multi-party mediation and restorative justice services and training are available to individuals, families, businesses, schools, organizations, churches and communities-at-large.
